# winch

winch is a server configuration tool. It describes the desired state of your servers in declarative YAML and provides commands to manage that state.

## Examples

```sh
# check the project without contacting a host
winch validate
```

```sh
# show the changes of the pipeline site on the test inventory
winch plan site --inventory test
```

```sh
# make those changes after a question
winch apply site --inventory test
```

## Usage

```
winch <command> [arguments] [flags]
```

In every command, -- ends the flags: the words after it are arguments, also when they start with "-".

## Flags

| Flag | Value | Default | Meaning |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `--version` |  |  | version and platform, as winch version |
